Currently, I'm a doctoral student at the Computer Engineering Group of the Computer Engineering and Networks Laboratory at ETH Zürich. My research interest include data analysis, signal processing and communications. Currently, I am focusing on improving large-scale acquisition and analysis of environmental data by using machine learning based approaches on various stages of the data acquisition pipeline. In addition, I am interested in how to communicate research results to non-experts and how to involve them in the knowledge creation process.
Previously, I developed signal processing algorithms enabling high-speed optical communications at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology where I worked with the Institute of Photonics and Quantum Electronics. Additionally, I pursued my interest in music by studying music computer science at the University of Music Karlsruhe.
